About
This mechanism has been derived by Ramanan Sankaran in the Combustion Research Facility at Sandia National Laboratories.
It is derived from a 17 species skeletal mechanism itself derived from the GRI-mech 1.2.
It comprises 13 transported species, 4 QSS species and 73 reactions.
This mechanism is advised by the authors to be used only for flame speed calculations.

NB: The original fortran file was using CGS unit system (Chemkin) for the production rates computation; corrections have been made for it to work in SI unit system (with kmol instead of mol in Cantera). A comment indicates those modifications within the file.
