About
- This mechanism has been derived by Lucien Gallen at CERFACS.
- It is the combination of HyChem methodology for Jet A from Stanford (Pr. H. Wang) and the C2H4_28_205_14_LG ARC derived from the Bisetti skeletal mechanism from KAUST.
- The Mechanism HyChem-KM2 (accessible for Cerfacs members only) used as a detailed mechanism is the HyChem-USCII mechanism with PAHs description derived by Wang.
- The ARC mechanism can be used for the C2H4 and JetA combustion in air for both atmospheric and high pressure (1 to 20 bars).
- Validity has been evaluated for 1D premixed flames on the following range :
P = 1 bar – 20 bar, T = 300 K – 650 K, phi = 0.8 – 2.0. - The ARC mechanism comprises 29 transported species, 15 QSS species, and
277 reactions.
