About

This mechanism has been derived by Lucien Gallen at CERFACS.

It is the reduction of the skeletal mechanism Bisetti derived from the Blanquart mechanism at USC. Cerfacs members can access the file here.

This mechanism can be used for the C2H4 and CH4 in air for both atmospheric and high pressure (1 to 5 bars).

Validity has been evaluated for 1D premixed flames on the following range :
P = 1 bar – 5 bar, T = 300 K, phi = 0.8 – 2.2.

The ARC mechanism comprises 28 transported species, 14 QSS species, and
271 reactions.
