About

This mechanism has been derived by Jonathan Wirtz at CERFACS.
It is derived from the detailed Jerzembeck high temperature scheme.

This mechanism can be used for various mix of C7H16/N2 combustion in pure oxygen at atmospheric conditions for auto-ignition time and counterflow diffusion flames.

Validity has been evaluated for 1D counterflow diffusion flames on the following range : P = 1 bar, T = 400 K, phi = 0.1 – 11, SR=1e0-1e5.

Validity has been evaluated for 0D auto-ignition reactors on the following range : P = 1 bar, T = 1000K, phi =1.

The skeletal mechanism comprises 35 species and 90 reactions.
