About

  • This mechanism has been derived by Lucien Gallen at CERFACS.
  • It is the reduction of the skeletal mechanism Bisetti derived from the Blanquart mechanism at USC. Cerfacs members can access the file here.
  • This mechanism can be used for the C2H4 and CH4 in air for both atmospheric and high pressure (1 to 5 bars).
  • Validity has been evaluated for 1D premixed flames on the following range :
    P = 1 bar – 5 bar, T = 300 K, phi = 0.8 – 2.2.
  • The ARC mechanism comprises 28 transported species, 14 QSS species, and 271 reactions.
